Invisalign clear aligners in DLF Phase 2, Gurgaon

Clear aligners move teeth using a series of custom, removable trays instead of fixed brackets and wires. Most people will not notice you are wearing them.

What clear aligners can correct

Aligners handle most of what braces handle, and a few things better. They are commonly used for:

  • Crowded or overlapping teeth
  • Gaps and spacing
  • Overbite, underbite and crossbite
  • Open bite
  • Teeth that have shifted back after previous braces
  • Mild to moderate cases where the patient does not want visible braces

How treatment runs

Assessment and scan. Your orthodontist checks whether aligners suit your bite, then takes a digital 3D scan — no impression trays.

Preview. The plan is mapped stage by stage, so you can see the projected result before committing.

Wearing them. Aligners are worn 20 to 22 hours a day, removed only to eat, drink anything other than water, and clean your teeth. You change to the next set on the schedule your orthodontist sets.

Retention. Teeth drift back without retainers. Retention is part of the treatment, not an optional extra.

Aligners compared with fixed braces

Aligners are removable, far less visible, and easier to clean around — you brush and floss normally. Fixed braces still have the edge for certain complex movements, and they do not depend on the patient remembering to wear them. Because aligners only work while they are in your mouth, discipline matters more than with braces. We will say plainly if your case is better served by braces.

Comfort

Expect mild pressure and tightness for a day or two after changing to a new set — that pressure is the movement happening. There are no brackets or wires to cut into the cheeks, and no emergency visits for a poking wire. Some people notice a slight lisp for the first few days, which settles.

What it costs

TreatmentTypical range
Invisalign® clear aligners₹1,50,000 – ₹3,50,000
Metal braces₹50,000 – ₹60,000
Ceramic braces₹50,000 – ₹95,000
Retainers after treatment₹5,000

Aligner cost depends on how much movement is needed — a mild correction uses far fewer aligners than a full-arch case. Retainers afterwards are essential rather than optional. These are indicative ranges, not a quotation — your exact cost is confirmed after an examination, before anything begins.

Common questions

How long does clear aligner treatment take?

It depends on how far the teeth need to move. Simple cases can finish in a few months; more complex ones take longer. You get an estimated duration after your scan, before you commit.

Will people notice I am wearing aligners?

They are clear and fit closely over the teeth, so most people will not notice in normal conversation. They are far less visible than metal braces.

What happens if I do not wear them enough?

Progress stalls and the aligners stop fitting, which can mean re-scanning and restarting a stage. The 20 to 22 hours a day figure is the requirement, not a suggestion.

Can I get Invisalign if I had braces years ago?

Yes. Relapse after previous orthodontic treatment is one of the most common reasons adults choose aligners.
